At Home Instead Senior Care of Sonoma County, we schedule regular training sessions for our caregivers. These serve to remind them not only about our basic procedures like what to wear and how to present themselves professionally while serving our clients but also about how to care for clients with dementia and those who have special needs.
We brought some of our caregivers in to the office for an informal training session a couple of weeks ago and we made this video to help capture our time together. While we’re in a very serious business, and we take caregiver training seriously, we also try to have some fun talking together and sharing our experiences so we can all learn from each other.
