Jenny received flowers and gifts as our CAREGiver of the Month
It is with great pleasure that we announce our May 2010 CAREGiver of the Month, Jenny A.
Jenny is a fairly new CAREGiver at Home Instead Senior Care of Sonoma County. She began her career in January, starting off part-time and is currently working into a full-time schedule.
Jenny’s clients really love her as she is both professional and reliable. She certainly is an asset to our Home Instead caregiving team.
One of our client’s family members recently sent this note:
There are many ways in which Jenny has been a “Godsend” to our family. I was understandably nervous about taking over my Mom’s care at the end of May after my Father’s death and my Mom’s relocation away from her home. She had been cared for by my brother who lived in Maui.

From their very first meeting, my Mom and Jenny “clicked” and we have never had a moment of worry or upset since. In addition to taking care of my Mom, Jenny had to get accustomed to my two teenagers (out of school for summer break at the time) and our three large dogs (one of whom does not particularly like strangers). She handled all of this with no problem whatsoever.
Jenny professionally makes sure my Mom gets dressed, fed, exercised, showered and/or cleaned up, and rested most days of the week. She also takes her to and from the Senior Center three days a week, for a haircut every three weeks, and to the doctor when needed. Most of all, Jenny shows great creativity and humor in interacting with my Mom, who can be quite stubborn about not wanting to get out of bed, take a shower or walk, or eat lunch.
We are so grateful for your bringing Jenny into our lives.
